It's a GIRL!!!

So, we found out last Wednesday that we are having a little GIRL!!!

Madelyn Grace

We could not be more excited to meet this precious little girl. She is growing perfectly, and everything is going great for me now. The doc said that us women have what they call a "true pelvis, a false pelvis, and then our abdomen" and little Maddy was just coming out of my "false pelvis" which is why I was so uncomfortable. He checked me though (which I have to say was pretty awkward for Jesse, lol), and everything is right on track and looking great! She is now happily swimming around in my abdomen area, and kicking like crazy. Jesse actually got to feel her for the first time the other night when we were laying in bed....so amazing!

So, last weekend couldn't have worked out any better. I went to Dallas for Haley's Stock the Kitchen Shower that me, mom, Meg, and Polly were throwing, and Jesse went to Corpus for a guys' weekend. After the shower, my little sweetheart, Caroline, came over and stayed the night with Aunt Annie and Grammy. We had a blast! She is such a good child, and I can't wait for her to meet her little cousin!

The next morning, Mom and I got up early and headed to First Monday at Canton. And man did we find some deals! I got so many cute things for Maddy's room. I found the big letters to go above her bed, a toy box, the cutest little rocking chair, and of course cute clothes :) Now, I'm not sure how excited Jesse is about all of this, because everything I got is a "do it yourself" project, lol. He loves my mom and I for our crafty ideas!! Here are a few pics of everything we got.

Her new toy box that I am going to paint red with her name in black on it.

Isn't this the cutest rocker you've ever seen?!?! Also going to be red with a black bow :)

A hot pink bonnett for her to wear home from the hospital

And of course, a frilly pink and black outfit with matching tiny shoes that Grammy got her! :)

O, and last but not least....how I took all these cute pictures...I got my new camera I have been wanting since last December! I worked a bunch of overtime last week to justify it to my conservative husband :) It is a Nikon D3100, and I LOVE it!! I am going to put it to the real test tomorrow in Mexico for Michael and Stacy's Wedding! Stay tuned for more pics from the exciting trip.

Love Always!
