Christmas Time

I think Christmas has to be my favorite time of year. I love going home to spend time with family, and this year was so good because I got to spend so much time with Caroline. We all thought that she wouldn't be very interested in opening presents or playing with the toys just yet, but she is so SMART! ...imagine that ;) She loved opening the gifts and playing with the wrappers, and she also got so excited about everything she got. It is so much fun with little ones now! Jesse got to fly in Christmas Eve and we spent the evening with my Mom and Rique, Grany, Justin and Allison, and Caroline. It was so nice to relax and just enjoy the time together.

The next morning, we had Christmas with Jesse's parents and his sister at his sister's house. Tye loved all of his gifts, and he guarded the chair we got him with everything he had! After breakfast, we had lunch at Jesse's grandmother's house with all of his aunts and cousins. It was wonderful, and the food was great. Our last stop for Christmas Day was my brother's house to spend time with Grandma, Aunt Gina and Uncle Jerry, Rachel, and Justin, Allison, and Caroline. Allison broke out her beautiful Christmas dinnerware and we ate yet AGAIN. :)

Everything was great, and we appreciate everything that our families did for us. The day after Christmas, we headed to Aunt Carelgean's house for time with my aunts and uncles and cousins. Everyone was able to make it except for Maggie. After lunch, we went to Sam Moons for a little after Christmas shopping!

The week was very busy, but it was great to see everyone and spend time with those we love. Hopefully we will be making it home again very soon.
