Sunday Blues...

Last week was such a beat-down, but I made it and I was VERY happy with my grades on the two hardest tests. And then the weekend was so great, because I got to wind down from all of my test anxiety. Mom and Rique came to see us, and of course we now have a working air conditioner as well as a new light and plug in our bathroom. Rique was very patient with Mom and I while we shopped in Corpus and got some cute clothes and stuff for the house. We went to eat at Two George's Friday night for dinner, and it was so good. I ate way too much shrimp, but its nice to indulge every once in a while. Jess got back Friday night, so Saturday he and Rique fixed the A/C then we all went to Big House Burgers to watch Tech beat OSU!!! I was so nervous about this game...afraid we wouldn't show up like we did last week, but we did! The final was 56-20. I told Jesse that all I want for my birthday is tickets to whatever Bowl Game we get (hopefully the BCS Championship)....haha, we shall see if I get it! Today is now for studying and catching up on school work while Jess rests up with the pups.
